Thankfully, there are a few things you can do to fix the issue. In this tutorial, I will summarise the steps to take in order to resolve the problem.

Sometimes, your Fire TV Stick may freeze on “Connecting to Amazon”. However this is usually just a temporary malfunction that can be resolved with restarting your router or Fire TV stick itself.

If this doesn’t fix the issue, you may need to update your Fire TV Stick’s firmware or factory reset.

Check your internet connection

Make sure that your router is switched on and your Wi-Fi network is working properly.

Restart your Router

You should restart your router. Once you have done that, check to see if your Fire TV Stick has internet access by going to Settings > Network and verify network status by pressing the Play button on your remote.
